Things to do before winter

If your a home owner,time to prepare for winter.
I find it best to make a check list.
Check and clean gutters
Have your furnace checked,changed the air filter
Add Sta Bil to your gasoline lawn equiptment.

I really like netflex.
Can watch movies on more than one computer.
Can also watch it on tv if you have an xbox or wii.
Roku online sells a device that hooks up to tv

Borders Book Stores are closing

Kept hoping that Border's book stores would remain open.
Such is not the case.
Sad to see them go.
My wife and I use to go to read,buy books,and have a coffee and a snack.

Valentines Day

Valentines Day will soon be here.
I have been married for a while to a wonderful woman.
At times I get caught up in the day to day,and don,t say the right things at the right time.
Thought I would take this time to write about Valentines Day.
Make an effort to do something special,flowers of course,perhaps a special card
and most important of all talk.

Dog treats

Bought a bag of dog treats called JUST 6
The product was developed by the TV Food cook Rachael Ray.
The dog treat is named just 6 because it contains just 6 simple ingredients.
1 Rice flour
2 Rice bran
3 Chicken
4 Oat fiber
5 Olive Oil
6 Salt
My dog really likes them

Vacations sometimes the fun is in just getting there

A few years ago my wife and I were on the way to Virginia Beach.
As we were driving my wife said “oh look theirs a sign that says Home of Tom Edison,did you want to stop.”I cheerfully said yes.
Tom Edison was an inventor who I had looked up to when I was a small boy.
Now suddnely we are about to see his home.
Which is located in Milan,Ohio

Grounds in my coffee cup

What a way to start the morning.Poured my coffee into the cup.There it was grounds in my cup.What to do.Grab a spoon to fish them out but that would not do.Saw an empty plastic pop bottle.So I cut off it off to make a funnel.Then I grabbed a clean coffee filter and placed it in the home made funnel.At last pure coffee.Life is good again.

Think spring

It,s been a tough winter.
Thought I would write about spring.
The home improvemtent centers have already set up their displays for spring.
You will see patio furniture which looks quite nice this year.
Very modern looking almost good enough to use inside.

winter months need humidifier

Durning the winter it's a good idea to use a humdifier.
Ideally one on the furnace works best.
However if you dont want to go through that expense or if your renting,you might consider using a small medical one in the bedroom.
Really helps if you have sinus condition.

Like listening to 95.5 Fish radio in Cleveland,Ohio
I even like the way they do their news.

Snow is melting

Snow is melting.
The drive way still had some frozen snow.
Decided to run the snowblower.
That did help to clear the driveway to make it clear of snow.
